About this rug
This Frequency Collection “345HZ” rug is hand-tufted by skilled artisans from NZ wool, with the option of an art silk or wool loop pattern.
“345HZ” is inspired by the Chladni plate experiment, whereby grains of salt are vibrated on a square plate. At certain frequencies, the randomly sprinkled salt organises itself into beautiful graphic patterns. This rug has been translated by Source Mondial from the emerging pattern which occurs at the frequency of Hz.
This rug is made entirely by hand, from the dyeing of the yarn to loom preparation, tufting and finishing. The final result is a special rug of enduring beauty which reflects the care, attention and craftsmanship required to produce it.
This rug can be custom made to suit specific requirements including dimensions, shape, design, scale, colours and production method.
