About this rug
Maya Rhombus is an indoor-outdoor material available in a range of natural colours that complement any interior scheme. It has a similar look to sisal or jute rugs but offers far superior performance, crafted using recycled plastic yarns.
Main characteristics:
- Manufactured on a flat-woven wilton loom with a diamond pattern design
- Main component is PET from recycled plastic bottles
- Wear ratings (EN 1307):
- Residential Use – 23 for area rugs and seamless wall to wall carpet
- Commercial Use – 33 for area rugs – not suitable for wall-to-wall installation
- Fire certification DFls1 (EN 13501-1)
- UV treatment incorporated in the fibres allowing for indoor and outdoor use with colour fastness to light >6 (ISO 105-B02)
- Suitable for use with underfloor heating (TOG 0.71)
- Anti-static behaviour (ISO 6356)
- Sustainability: Meets standards for LEED-certified buildings (EQC 4.3) and BREEAM
